MooonShine Inks are the
product of years of development and many millions of dollars of
investment. The unique, patented protected material was created as a
spin off from materials initially produced for safety and military
applications. MoonShine is now available in a number of formats for fashion and consumer products, including inks for screen printing. For the past year our ink has been causing a stir on the very successful t-shirts produced by one of the world’s leading brands (you know the one we mean!) and is now available to the wider audience. MoonShine was been developed through the long-term collaboration of three companies GlowZone, Inc of Brea, California, USA, DualGlo Technology Plc of Solihull, West Midland, UK and Visible 24/7 Ltd of Swindon, Wiltshire, UK. GlowZone is the world leader in producing illuminating materials and products for the safety industry. GlowZone’s expertise brought the brightest luminance in the world to the party. The GlowZone materials are so effective that they are used in emergency systems worldwide including egress systems at John Wayne Airport in Orange County and on the personal safety gear of firefighters (see glowzone.com). DualGlo is the world leaders in colored photoluminescence and manufacturing additives for plastics. DualGlo added the coloring processes to the mix. The DualGlo colors have been used in a wide range of products within sectors as diverse as medical to military. DualGlo additives are used by household name companies such as Victorinox that uses it in the grips for the Victorinox Rescue Tool the (Knife of the Year 2007). Visible 24/7 was “spun out” from DualGlo as a marketing arm and Intellectual Property organization. Visible 24/7 added patents and global marketing to the mix. Between the principals of GlowZone, DualGlo and Visible 24/7 there is more than 60 years experience of blending photo luminescent cocktails for plastics and coatings. |
